A visit grounded in shared ambition
At Chery International's headquarters in Wuhu, the HK Millionsmooth delegation was received for a series of working sessions focused on the African market. The discussions covered the full export value chain — from model selection and compliance to logistics, port handling and after-sales support — and reflected a shared read on where the Africa opportunity is heading.
Why Africa, why now
Africa is one of the fastest-moving frontiers for vehicle demand. Rising urbanisation, a young population and expanding trade corridors are driving sustained growth in both passenger and commercial segments. For HK Millionsmooth, a Hong Kong-registered international trading company with a multi-brand sourcing model, Africa has long been a priority corridor — and 2027 is the year to move from scattered shipments to a structured, market-by-market presence.
What the framework covers
The strategic cooperation framework outlines collaboration across three pillars: (1) model portfolio — spanning Chery group lineups such as Exlantix, Luxeed and Tiggo — matched to diverse African market needs; (2) a resilient supply and logistics chain anchored on the Ningbo Zhoushan Port hub; and (3) phased market development with clear 2027 milestones. During the visit the delegation also reviewed live showroom displays of the latest products, from the Exlantix ES GT to Luxeed MPVs and the Tiggo range.
Looking ahead
With the framework in place, the two teams will move into detailed planning for 2027 — aligning product roadmap, shipping cadence and in-market support so that overseas dealers gain a more predictable, better-supported supply. HK Millionsmooth will keep sharpening its role as a neutral, Hong Kong-registered sourcing and export partner for B2B buyers across Africa and beyond.
